Mount Rainier Elopement

Jamie & Trevor’s Mount Rainier Elopement | Sunrise to Stars in the Pacific Northwest

Mount Rainier Elopement

When you think of an elopement that perfectly blends adventure, intimacy, and deep cultural meaning — Jamie and Trevor’s Mount Rainier Elopement was exactly that. From a glowing sunrise on the Skyline Loop Trail to a candlelit riverside dinner, their day was a heartfelt celebration of love, heritage, and connection to nature.

Sunrise First Look at Skyline Loop Trail

As the first light painted the sky in soft pinks and golds, Jamie and Trevor shared their first look at sunrise on the Skyline Loop Trail. The mountain stood tall and clear, its snow-capped peak glowing in the early morning light. The forest was quiet except for the sound of their laughter echoing through the alpine meadow.

We began hiking toward Myrtle Falls, and as if the morning couldn’t get any more magical, we spotted a few deer grazing nearby. The couple paused to soak in the beauty of the moment — keeping a respectful distance while taking in the calm of the wild. Those images, framed by the cascading waterfall and gentle wildlife, became some of the most breathtaking photos of their Mount Rainier Elopement.

A Hawaiian Lei Exchange Along the Trail

Before meeting their loved ones, Jamie and Trevor shared a Hawaiian lei exchange along the trail — a quiet, meaningful gesture that reflected their roots. Against the backdrop of Mount Rainier’s grandeur, the moment felt sacred and deeply symbolic of unity, love, and the joining of two souls.

A Heartfelt Ceremony Surrounded by Family and Friends

Later that morning, the couple met up with their closest family and friends — all of whom had flown in from Hawaii — for their ceremony. Together, we hiked a short, scenic trail where Mount Rainier towered in the distance, creating an unforgettable ceremony backdrop.

Their officiant beautifully incorporated Hawaiian language into the vows, weaving in their heritage and love story. The ceremony was full of laughter, happy tears, and deep emotion — a moment that perfectly balanced adventure and tradition.

A Cozy Celebration at Their A-Frame Cabin

After their ceremony, everyone returned to the couple’s cozy A-frame cabin along the river for an intimate dinner celebration. The space was transformed with twinkling lights, candles, and a gorgeous tablescape designed by Miere Catering, who also prepared a mouthwatering meal for the evening.

Jamie and Trevor signed their marriage certificate, popped champagne, and shared heartfelt toasts with their loved ones. It was the kind of cozy, love-filled dinner that makes elopements so special — personal, intentional, and beautifully them.

Sunset Adventure and Private Vow Exchange

As the sun dipped behind the mountains, we returned to Mount Rainier National Park for one final adventure. We hiked to a peaceful alpine lake surrounded by rugged peaks, where Jamie and Trevor shared their private vow exchange under a golden sky.

As night fell, lanterns illuminated their final portraits, and stars began to fill the sky. It was the perfect full-circle ending — from sunrise to starlight — to an unforgettable Mount Rainier Elopement day.

Beyond her incredible work, she is truly a wonderful human being inside and out. What made the experience even more special was how she made every step of the planning feel custom and tailored just for us as a couple. She is thoughtful and intentional—not only with what she captures through her lens but also behind the scenes in ways you might not even realize.  On top of it all, Sheryl goes above and beyond. She is professional, reliable, and trustworthy—qualities that made us feel completely confident and at ease every step of the way. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made the whole journey effortless and joyful. We are grateful for the beautiful memories she captured. These photos are not just pictures—they’re a timeless treasure we will cherish forever.

From our first call, I could feel Sheryl’s excitement and passion for what she did. As a type A girly, I loved how organized and detailed Sheryl was. From her intake form to our Zoom calls to texts and emails back-and-forth, I knew Sheryl would carry out our day exactly how we envisioned it. And she did just that! We are over the moon at how our photos turned out. Sheryl was our biggest hype man, kept us (mainly me) calm and collected when things didn’t pan out the way we expected, and weathered every storm with grace.  She captured our day perfectly.

tracy & Carlos, switzerland multi-day elopement

From planning out our adventures, and even scouting the day before at each location, she helped with everything. She was always in constant communication from the first day we reached out to her, till the day that our gallery was sent to us. Our photos truly captured the pure bliss and love that we felt in each moment, and we will cherish them forever. We were so comfortable with traveling with Sheryl throughout our multi-day elopement, and had so much fun as well! We truly don't know what magic Sheryl has in her, as well as those cameras of hers, but every picture was so magically beautiful, and we love her so much (I mean, she even slept in an igloo for us, how could we not?!).
