why i created a drone course for elopement photographers

I created The Elevated Perspective after realizing there wasn’t a drone course built specifically for elopement photographers — for how we actually run timelines, guide couples, and protect the flow of the day.

Most drone education felt overly technical, and unrealistic for real elopement timelines. I tried overcomplicating settings. I chased dramatic angles. I put pressure on myself to perform in the air. And it never felt calm. It never felt sustainable. So I built the course I wish existed.

Do I need a drone license to take this course?
No. This course does not teach how to obtain your drone license or prepare for the FAA Part 107 test. It focuses on how elopement photographers can use drones creatively and confidently during real elopement days.

Is this beginner-friendly?
Yes. Whether you’re brand new to drones or already flying but want to improve your compositions and confidence, this course walks through practical, real-world use on elopement days.

How long does it take to complete?

Which drone do you use?
I personally use the DJI Mini 3 Pro, and all of the photos shown in this course were captured using that drone. The techniques taught in the course can be applied to most drones.
